Cory Kosche, M.D.
Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon
Dr. Cory Kosche is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon at Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills, practicing in the Beverly Hills / West Hollywood area, with a practice built equally around aesthetic excellence and surgical precision. He is known for results that look effortless: skin that is healthy, luminous, and natural. He believes that protecting the skin and keeping it beautiful are not separate goals but a single, unified pursuit. Being trained in both disciplines, he sees things others might miss: the sun-damaged patient who needs a cancer ruled out before a laser, or the skin cancer patient whose long-term skin health is just as important as the surgery itself.
Dr. Kosche trained entirely at the University of California, San Francisco, completing his dermatology residency, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology. UCSF is among the most rigorous and respected training environments in the country, and the depth of anatomical and surgical knowledge he developed there informs everything he does. While in San Francisco, he also pursued additional training in advanced aesthetic dermatology and injectable techniques.
In aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Kosche has particular expertise in laser medicine and skin resurfacing, working extensively with ablative CO2 laser resurfacing, Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, VBeam, and other laser platforms. He performs the full range of injectable treatments, including neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, etc.), dermal fillers, and biostimulators (Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, etc.), with a philosophy grounded in restraint: his patients never look over treated, they look like themselves.
As a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, Dr. Kosche brings careful attention to scar care and long-term cosmetic outcomes in facial reconstruction. He has experience managing complex and recurrent tumors, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma, and works closely with referring physicians throughout a patient’s care. For his Mohs patients, cure and a result they feel confident in are equally the goal.
Dr. Kosche also performs cyst excision, lipoma excision, and surgical mole removal, in addition to mole checks, skin cancer screening, acne, and full-spectrum general dermatology.
He has authored peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters in aesthetic dermatology, reconstructive surgery, and skin cancer. He lectures frequently at national dermatology conferences, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). He is passionate about inclusive, affirming care, and previously served in a leadership role in the American Academy of Dermatology’s LGBTQ Expert Resource Group.
Originally from Simi Valley, California, Dr. Kosche is an avid home cook who loves group fitness and good sushi.
