Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, prompting many people to grumble about “losing an hour.” Though you may be tempted to stay up later (when the clock says 9 p.m., you’ll still feel as awake as you typically do at 8 p.m.), remember that you’ll pay for it in the morning. When the alarm goes off at 6 a.m., but your body believes it’s 5 a.m. and still wants another hour of sleep, you’ll be sorry.

A lack of adequate sleep is bad for your skin, which needs down time, just like the rest of you. Of course, you should also remember to take off any makeup at night before you get in bed, both to spare your clean pillowcase and to ensure that the only thing on your cheeks, eyelids, chin, and forehead is your beautiful skin.
